Welcome to Skill-Life!

SKILL-LIFE is an interactive website that educators and parents can use to teach youth financial literacy and math skills.  In Skill-Life, teenagers lead a virtual life, explore financial subjects, and manage money while real-world incentives keep them playing.

Through three portals, our product provides young people, educators, and parents with a fun resource that is easily accessible in and out of the classroom, user-directed, and linked to NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) and Jump$tart standards:

My Skill-Life brings each youth into CentsCity where s/he takes on a virtual persona, or avatar, who must earn, spend, save, donate, and invest in order to one day retire and achieve their financial goals!

My Real-Life gives youth an opportunity to earn real-world rewards as they build their skills and to map out their own financial present and future.

The Main Office is a space for grown folks — educators, parents, and others — to access our dynamic financial education curriculum, track and assess progress, and choose incentives to award as their youth develop financial skills.

Our mission is to equip boundary-free classrooms and families in which people understand how money works and use this knowledge to create wealth.  At Skill-Life, we give youth a fun, virtual, and educational experience that lets them — “live life like there’s more tomorrow!”
